To Write A Riot

Adam, from the band To Write A Riot sent me a message saying that they needed photos for press kits A.S.A.P. I was of course more then happy to help out.

I first heard about these guys through the band Too Tall Grizzly, who I photographed back in April. I have been to many of To Write A Riot shows and can honestly say I am blow away every time.

It's always a pleasure to work with a band that is as professional and serious as these guys are. And the fact that they crack me up is a bonus. :)

They came down to my studio tonight for a quick shoot. We only shot for about a hour because the guys had to head out to a show. But they knew exactly what look they wanted and what they were going for.

I think it's safe to say we pulled it off.

Rob and Brianna

A old friend from high school, Rob, got in touch with me about photographing him and his girlfriend. We have be trying to do this shoot for a while now and I'm so glad we got the chance yesterday. We spent afternoon at Hubbard park in Meriden and got some really cute shots. Rob and Brianna are a really adorable couple. Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

Daniel James

I have a shoot this weekend with an acoustic duo so I wanted to try out this idea. This handsome young man is my brother whom I often "make" pose for me when I want to try something new.

This is lit with only the mod lights on my AB800 and AB400.

I kinda dig it. Whether I use this idea for this weekends shoot remains to be seen.
