Retrospective

So, the other day I decided to go over my portfolio, and It's easy to see how far I've come. But not only do these photos represent my past, but they show that I can progress as an artist and photographer. I can only hope my future becomes just as evolved as this retrospective look at my work.

The photos of Gulgotha were taken when I was about 19, around the time I was discovering the world of photography. And before photography school. The second set was taken within the last year. I have come a long way since then, or it feels like it at least. It has been a long and hard six years or so and I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who has ever stepped in front of my lens, let me turn the basement into a makeshift darkroom (Mom and Dad), critiqued a photo, let me borrow equipment, listened to me rant, given me advice, let me cry, gone to see my work hung in shows, let me submit photos to your online magazine (Type3media.com) and booked your wedding with Belle Amore Photography.

Tainted Cherry

I had a busy week shooting bands last week. Tainted Cherry came down to my studio Sunday night. This shoot was a lot of fun and I had a awesome time photographing the guys. I got some really great shots. Enjoy!
